Bought for my sister and nephew for a ski trip to Finland. My sister said it keeps her really warm when cross country skiing and downhill skiing in temperatures around -20C / -4F. Best of all, it warms your neck and chest. This is a good quality balaclava. My nephew loves it so much he always wears it around his neck. My sister and nephew gave it 5 stars and I'm passing that message on to other skiers. I myself wore this balaclava during the arctic gyre in Chibiria - Chicago on January 30th and 31st. I put on a balaclava and a ski mask and went to work like that. It was a bit chilly =) while warming up the car at -30°C / -22°F. It keeps your head and neck warm and protects your face from frostbite. My family of skiers and I recommend this item for winter sports. Good quality at a good price. The smell is unpleasant, I washed it and the smell went away.
