I bought these sheets to cover our bed and duvet to protect everything from our wild cats who scratch everything when they play and of course they lose hair all over. The sheets are very large (we have a California king bed). When I ordered I didn't care as it was just a bedspread and not our sheets, but they are really good! Soft, thick, very comfortable - not exactly flannel, but a slightly combed softness. And they don't hang that easily - they still look good after many encounters with 4WD crampons tearing at them. I will buy them next time we need regular sheets. We've been using them for at least 6-8 months, have washed them many times and they're doing a great job. Pro tip if you have a cat that gets under the sheets at 3am and attacks your legs: Buy *two* of these and make a protective sleeve around the sides and bottom of the bed, about 2 feet on each side , with plenty of free space for you to move underneath. Lay Sheet A to one side and tuck it in deep so the kitten can't climb in. The free edge should almost reach the top edge of the opposite side. Then place sheet B on the other side and repeat. Even if you move around a lot, you have a lot of space, you don't pull on the edges of the sheet and the kitten can't sneak around the edges. Finally sleep well!
