did I manage to compress the springs on the cylinder head alfa romeo 2.0 1973? Yes. Did this tool damage the head or valves? no, it doesn't look like it. Was this tool cheap and in my hands within two days? Yes. The problem is that the large C mount/clamp deformed during the work it was designed for. this is not good. It's bent so badly that it no longer fits in the case it was installed in. This also means that force is being applied to either the valve face or the retainer (or both) at an angle, which can cause the valve stem to bend. .
