Good for car coding but also a great charger

Got this primarily for coding my BMW. I'm an enthusiast, not a pro, so it was a bit of a bust (though come to think of it, I was still *much* ahead in the money I saved from not going to the dealer.) Anyway, it worked really well for that. You can actually control the amount of current drawn, which I found pretty handy. But I've found another way to get a return on it and that is to properly charge/condition batteries for longer life. I had a previous Die Hard smart charger and it was fine for basic charging if you're patient. But I have a few bikes and even with maintenance I've had battery issues because I haven't always ridden them very much. I had a fairly expensive Odyssey battery that kind of died. Didn't take the charger to the Smart Charger, didn't keep the charger after jumping off the bike, but it wasn't really that old when it comes to this type of battery. I threw it at that bad boy and listened. The fan went up and down as the machine went through all sorts of cycles for hours. I assumed it was a desulfurization program or something. But the battery seems happy again, although we'll see if it lasts longer. This saved me from throwing out the 2 year old Odyssey battery and replacing it with another that saves more money. I could just plug it into my seated vehicles regularly to make sure they're well charged and in a healthy state.
