Worked great for programming a 2012 BMW x5 e70

I used this (with BMW ISTA/P) to reprogram my X5, worked great. I set the voltage to 13.5 volts and it didn't draw more than 60 amps (this thing is rated for 70 amps continuous so the X5 was within its capabilities). This unit is more expensive than others in Revain, but I really like its size, the fact that it runs from a standard 15A outlet (so I didn't have to change my house wiring). I didn't use it to charge. Overall I am happy with my purchase!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not the best

Poor quality of chargers

This device is rubbish. I'm wasting my money and my time. I bought one for programming and flashing Eurocars. After six months of purchase, the power supply stopped working. The display turns on but no power outlet at all. I had to pay 75.00 in USPS to ship it under warranty because shumancher wouldn't send me a shipping order after a month of warranty. I received it and the power adapter continued with the same problem now I have to pay 75.00 for shipping again. Schumancher customer service is

A professional device at a great price

Professional charger and environmentally friendly power supply. I'm a specialist in heavy diagnostics. I do a lot of reprogramming, I can adjust the voltage and don't have to worry about it when flashing a module. The charging side is great, plug it in, set it up and it takes care of itself. No more resetting the timer or worrying about charging your battery. Just an update, I've had this charger for over a year now, I've had no problems with it. Second update January 2016, I'm still using the…

Great tested charger plus constant voltage option

Good site Used for over 2 years without BIG failures, even SnapOn Mac Matco and many other big tool vendors only recommend Schumacher but when they do they just change the sticker with their own brand. A lot of big retailers also use Schumacher (I've seen it at a lot of different retailers). , the brackets no longer close straight. The wires coming out of the main box are not fully seated and this worries me when getting in and out of the box where the hole is. from the values shown example…

So far, so good. the best in launchers, chargers and portable power supplies

I was considering buying a battery holder exclusively for programming modules. My first choice was OTC, but the model was sold out everywhere! The next choice was the Schumacher INC100 100A 12V. The dealer I bought from was American Mechanic in Lakeland, Florida. I paid more on purpose, I paid more just to be sure the package was packed properly and it was! Nothing is damaged. The INC100 has a "Made in China" sticker, but the quality looks and feels good. There is no main switch, but I can live

Pros
  • the best in their niche
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Good for car coding but also a great charger

Got this primarily for coding my BMW. I'm an enthusiast, not a pro, so it was a bit of a bust (though come to think of it, I was still *much* ahead in the money I saved from not going to the dealer.) Anyway, it worked really well for that. You can actually control the amount of current drawn, which I found pretty handy. But I've found another way to get a return on it and that is to properly charge/condition batteries for longer life. I had a previous Die Hard smart charger and it was fine for…

1 year charger test

I am very satisfied and recommend this charger to everyone. I bought this charger about 1 year ago and was still waiting to leave a review because I didn't want to mislead anyone. I can safely say that this is one of the best products on the market. ADVANTAGES: Accurate power display Versatile charging settings Compact design for easy storage and movement Large, narrow cables for charging cables and plugs High-performance dual fans and heat-dissipating fins on the case CONS: The battery's jaws…
