I had a pretty bad algal bloom and was constantly changing the water without help. After doing a little research, I found that the UV sterilizer was exactly what I needed, and it was convenient and affordable. The first photo is after a day of use (I forgot to take the actual "before" photo) and the second after 9 days with a water change. I'm amazed at how well it worked! It's been running 24/7 since I bought it and will probably use it weekly for a while and see if it holds up and move on from there. I had to adjust the suction on my filter because it was sloshing over the top of the light. There's still a little sticking out on the side, but it obviously worked great!
