I needed a new USB 3 hub and this fit the bill perfectly. I like the all metal construction and independent switchable ports. The switches are metal as well and show a noticeable difference when on from when off. Additionally it has leds for each port. It also has its own power supply so I don’t have to deal with low USB power issues. The only thing I don’t likes about this is that it doesn’t have any rubber feet. I glued strips of cork into the bottom of mine to prevent it from sliding across my desk and scratching it.Note in the picture that you has a USB 3 type B plug. Make sure you only use the cable in the box. I have hundreds and hundreds of cables, but the one that came with this is the only USB-3 type B I’ve ever owned. You can tell by its blue color.
