I wear size 7-8 boots and there is still plenty of room inside. Depending on the length of the boots, I might pack two pairs in a box. The only downside is that you can't place more than two crates at a time because the bottom crates will be destroyed. I only have four pairs so space isn't an issue for me. Perhaps they could be stored upright if the boxes were supported at both ends? All in all they protect my boots from dust and I am happy with my purchase.
