Ordered these from Revain to save some money but found them a waste of time. All of them are placed freely in a small bag to jump at will. The spiked areas don't have covers like you would normally see and aren't individually wrapped to protect them. As you can see from the photos, the serrated ring that is the main sealing component is damaged. The plastic cap, which probably costs about two or three cents, meant these parts would probably arrive in perfect condition and I wouldn't return them. However, these are in fact extension fittings. So if you are confused, check out the difference between PEX a and PEX b. YouTube explains in detail the difference of which fittings go with which pipe.
