ONE PERSON ASSEMBLY

To avoid problems with a one person assembly: - Take two #8 3" bolts to match the regular nuts (2), wing nuts (2) and washers (2) . Use these instead of the screws provided. Some reviewers say they are #6 screws, but my hardware store didn't have a 3" #. 6 screws so I went with #8 and decided to drill holes. It turns out that number 8 is perfect! - Insert #8 screws through the bottom panel. Unscrew the regular nuts. Tighten. - Fasten the base plate to the ceiling with the long screws facing down. We'll pull it out later. Tie it in a bow about 12 to 15 inches long. - AND THAT: Pass the cable through the middle hole of the bracket and place it on one of the lamp bases. I had a long single thread hanging from my loop, I skipped it first and pulled through the loop. Now your fixture will hang about 6 inches below the ceiling and you can do all your wiring! - Once the wiring is complete, good luck attaching the bracket to the screws. That was the hardest part for me. - After you have both wing nuts but before you tighten them, cut the rope and pull it out. - Boom, one man job! Hotel lobby or living room. But everyone says it looks great. It works great with Edison LED bulbs and a cheap dimmer.
