The totally cool thing is that this gives you pan, tilt, and zoom. It is not a POE camera however. You only need to run power to it with the included A/C adapter; you can let Wi-Fi handle the rest. It also has the option of being able to hard wire it directly via ethernet. I like the way it looks but it lets people know which way it is looking, that is if they get close enough to notice.Setup is easy using the CamHi app and there are instructions on how to view it via PC. For setup make sure your cell phone is connected to the same network as the plug in ethernet. It finds it no problem that way.To view the camera on the PC just go into for example Google web browser and type in the IP address it was given during setup by the program. That takes you right to the camera with PC setup instructions. Click on setup on PC first time and it downloads the Client Plus Setup.exe. Then just click on PC View and it takes you right to the PC page with the IP address web/admin and dot html. There it is on the screen.This has to be one of the easiest web cams I have ever setup. The clarity on the PC screen is nothing less than phenomenal.Because of the HDMI switch I have my laptop and additional monitor setup on I can view it on my TV screen as well. The reaction time on this its top notch as well. In real time with the camera focused on my hand, I can move my fingers and in less than a second the movement is on my PC screen after traveling through the network; that’s a faster reaction time than most.I have been trying to create a security camera network around my home, and I wanted something that was compatible with using my WD EX2 Ultra NAS as a base. One other reviewer mentioned they had problems setting it up with their NAS. I haven’t gotten to that point with mine yet so I can’t comment on that, but I do know that using it with your cell phone CamHi app, or directly through your PC is a breeze and works great. I have to give it 5 stars thanks to the incredibly clear picture, and the zoom, tilt, and pan abilities.
