Review on Inkbird Thermostat Temperature Controller Fermentation by James Trapkin

First let me say that the functionality of these thermostats is excellent. They are easy to set up and program. However, there is one major issue that makes this device all but useless for any mission-critical measurement applications like aquariums. I had two older controllers that didn't have a detachable probe and both started having tracking issues. Temperature accurate for some time. It was getting worse and worse; outside the calibration range of the controller. I ordered a newer version of this, thinking that maybe the sensor is better now (waterproof) and doesn't falter over time and accurately measures temperature over time. Unfortunately I noticed today that the temperature reading of the new controller/sensor is now also 1.6 degrees higher. Now, on the other hand, I can swap out the probe without having to invest in a full controller like the other two before, but that won't solve the problem in the long run. Also, replacement sensors aren't cheap either. I don't know how to solve this problem. If I think of anything I'll update this review for you.
