Review on 🔧 Nutone 8663RP Motor Assembly - 97017705, 1550 RPM; 1.2A, 115V by Gerald Hill

This was a simple replacement for a 14 year old bathroom exhaust fan. All tabs and screws fit perfectly. I could see that this has a major improvement over the original: the fan is more securely attached to the motor shaft, preventing it from slipping around the shaft. This is an issue I had with both the original and another identical fan about 8 years ago. The fan (a shorted plastic cage) was simply pressed into a smoothly polished shaft on the original. Over time, it lost its footing and slid down toward the engine until it got stuck in the fuselage. I successfully sealed one of these 8 years ago and it still works fine. I had no luck with it and decided to buy a new one to save time. The purchase was worth it.
