I used these 16mm freezemod fittings as well as 14mm freezemod hardline fittings. They are very easy to use and give good results. Don't be fooled by the low cost, these fittings work well and look fantastic. These are quite suitable fittings for low profile applications. The photo uses Thermaltake 16mm V-Tubler PETG tubing. These fittings use a double seal on the inside and one for the compression ring. As with most rigid compression fittings, an internal o-ring provides a seal. The outer ring gives stability and rigidity to the connection so that the pipe does not move. So if you see someone saying it's a triple seal, that's not the case. The first downside I see is that sometimes it's hard to tell when the tube has bottomed. If your hose does not fully engage both inner rings, you may experience a leak. Low profile fittings like this don't have room for a third inner liner, but I generally recommend a triple gasket + 1 compression ring, especially for beginners.
