Bought the product to try the setting tool as I have had this type of fastener before but the results were unsatisfactory. My first project was to install 2 ceiling mounts to stabilize/support a large mounting plate (rectangular and about 1 1/2 feet long and 5 inches wide) that needed to be attached to the ceiling for support. the new "industrial" ceiling light that my wife wanted there. The ceiling light was large, heavy and needed extra support, but came with two very cheap, low quality drywall brackets to mount a small picture frame. I went with the new kit I had and settled on two "medium" mounts. I marked the drilling locations, drilled two holes with a cordless drill, and put two fasteners in the holes. I then "set" the two mounts with a tool, then removed the screws, placed the mount on the ceiling and tightened the screws until the battery powered driver I was using "clicked" the first time. The mount seemed solid so I proceeded to install it. A few minutes later, my wife and granddaughters stood admiring Grandma's new "quirky and beautiful" light. These mounts were fantastic and as easy to install as any similar drywall mounting hardware with a very well made tool. Note. For screw heads that don't fit the tool's "V" hole, simply widen it to allow the screw to go far enough to fit the "V" hole. In any case, do not squeeze the fasteners too much, otherwise you will crush the sleeve. And don't overtighten the screws or you'll break the drywall.
