Review on ๐Ÿ’Ž Durable DEWALT Diamond Grit Oscillating Tool Blade for Flush Cuts (DWA4242) by Brian Thao

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Won't fit on tile

Had to cut through grout and wall tiles to fit a large back box (two junction boxes instead of three). The tile is a standard white subway tile and regular sanded grout. Three tiles total and about ten inches of grout. The cutting knife literally barely lived up to its task. When it was finished it was effectively bare and smooth. I threw it away. I knew it would work well for a mortar, but figured it would at least stand up to a very small task. I had to finish the last piece of tile with a hammer and stone chisel. Fortunately, I've already successfully cut through most of this tile. Not good.

Pros
  • Nice job
Cons
  • Doubtful
