It's easier to turn the light on and off manually than to tinker with it. The genius behind the button you use to initiate Wi-Fi pairing decided to come up with a blinking light on it so you can't see the light when you hold the button down with your finger. They are also too big to use both plugs in one outlet, meaning if you take one plug with the device it will hang onto the neighboring plug, preventing you from using it. You cannot plug two of these devices into the same outlet. The reduction was unsuccessful and a lot of time was wasted waiting for the software to tell me it can't pair. Strongly frustrating. Alexa has also become an amnesia for me lately - I forgot about those devices and didn't provide a way to add them to the 'Devices' list. If you have a few hours to kill, you can always wait for tech help, but you're better off buying something better first.
