The FLIR app is top notch - better than the search app. The "Search" application crashed regularly. It *NEVER* recovered from screen off -> screen on events on my iOS devices. It was "disturbing" at best. The FLIR app never crashed with this use - it always restored and displayed a usable image. So much for an app. Search is 4x the resolution of FLIR ONE PRO. The images are actually more detailed in many cases. In general, more"noise" with"search". This makes the increased resolution less useful. The overall result is that FLIR is more useful with its APP than "Search" is with its app. Choose FLIR, even at lower resolutions. I hope one day they make a good higher resolution camera. May be? Someday?
