Perfect for what I need
Bought these to take my rug outside. My carpet got wet when it rained because it was directly on the patio (covered patio). The rain dripped onto the patio and the carpet got wet. I gathered them together and put a rug over them. It works great! No more wet carpet! I have it right in front of the door, so no risk of tripping. I suppose if I were using them under a rug in the middle of the patio they might knock someone over, but for my purpose they're great.
