This brush works great but has a design flaw: the button only works when the dispenser opening is completely filled with soap covered. All bad reviews are due to rubber breaks caused by this bug. To avoid the problem: 1) Keep the soap level high enough. 2) NEVER press the button until the soap has flowed into the dispenser opening. (You end up releasing the air cushion that the button is pressing on to spit out the soap, forcing you to press harder. This will break the button.) 3) If you accidentally press the button in such a way that the air releases the cushion , unscrew the cap and dispose of the unfortunate tiny suction situation you created. The soap will come out more easily immediately. How can OXO fix this? - Rock the brush so that when it rests the soap flows naturally and covers the dispensing hole (I have to keep it upside down in the sink basket for this to work). ).-Make this button and its gasket out of a harder material. Or make the whole bowl in one piece.
