Review on Heavy Duty Float Switch for Sewage, Suspended Solids and Viscous Liquids - The Ultimate SludgeBoss by Jaleel Akuffo

Worked great. Time will tell how it holds up

The description omits the fact that it has three wires instead of two as I expected. That was excellent. This means you can use it for different applications. In my case the switch needs to open when the water level goes down. This signaled to the pump controller that it was time to turn off the pump. You just have to use the correct two wires and it has been determined in the directions that came with the float. If you use a different combination of wires, you can also use the same float to turn on the pump from the controller (or directly, since the switch is designed to start the engine). The only surprise was that the kit didn't come with a weighting agent for the wire. Not critical and it was just a bad guess on my part.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not bad
