Review on Efficient Trunk Mount Rack for Beach Cruisers: Hollywood Racks Gordo 2-Bike by Brad Bowers

After a month and a half of use I was impressed with this stand. It's pretty easy to install once you get the hang of it. I got it after one try. I use it to haul my own beach cruiser and occasionally a mate's beach cruiser and the trunk makes it super easy and worry free. As soon as I park and tie up the bikes, I know they're going nowhere. However, my only issue/problem with this is that the straps that attach the rack to the bike are loose. With 6 contact points on the back of the car and 2 additional straps on the bike rack, even with two beach cruisers, I have an absurd amount of leeway. Of course, I could use one or two of these as extra zip ties, but after the fourth try of using as many straps as possible, I decided the best option was to cut and re-solder the straps. .And I drive a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta sports car.
