4 stars value for money, 5 for everything else

This is a serious tool with weight to it and very easy to use and adjust. Once adjusted everything stays in place. I watched many reviews and it paid off as I was up and running in less than an hour of adjustments relating to my immediate need of cleaning / planing the top of my workbench. Been a breeze to use since that project and now use for a variety of purposes including removing dried glue (not recommended), beveling corners and edges, removing splintered edges from plywood after making clean cuts to big sheets. Price is a bit high but worth it as tool does perform consistently well.

Pros

The plane worked very well. Better than many other planes I have purchased.

Cons

The cuts produced by the plane may not be as smooth as some users would like
