I bought one of these in March (2020) and my cats love it! I have it next to the window so they can see birds, deer and other cats outside. That's the perfect height for my window! I have to agree with other reviews: the carpeting is starting to peel off the scratching post and can become a little unstable after a while. I just saved the assembly tool and tightened the screws when it started to wobble. As for the carpet material, one of my cats completely tore up the top scratching post and that's when the carpet started peeling off me. For the price of this scratching post, I find the quality to be pretty good, so I bought the exact same one again! I wish you could order parts individually as I hate having to replace an entire structure for a scratching post. . Overall, I highly recommend this product!
