Review on 🎨 32oz Heirloom Traditions All-In-One Paint in Manor House - Creamy Off White by Ellington Gardner

I was so excited to try this color with all the hype about it, but unfortunately it wasn't what I was expecting. I tried not to shake it, let it sit for a while, mixed it well and it was very runny. I emailed customer service to ask if it should be liquid, to which they quickly replied that they could send them a video of me mixing it. Okay, now I'm 49 years old and I certainly know how to stir a can of paint properly. LOL I have been painting furniture for many years, mostly with chalk paint. I'm crazy about brush strokes, I hate them! So after watching lots of Heirloom Paint videos I was ready to give my kitchen cabinets a makeover and expected the bare minimum of brush strokes. First I cleaned and degreased, degreased the doors, then brushed and soaped my first coat. It goes on smoothly and dries quickly, so I moved on to the second coat. Didn't see much opacity but figured I'd need about 3 coats since I used Mason House's. After my third layer there was a lot of texture from the foam roller which I don't like, smooth as smooth as possible, that's always my goal. I don't want my closets to scream, I've painted them silky smooth. Then the fourth coat, still uneven, needed a fifth... And then I threw in the towel! The cover is no more than semi-gloss interior paint at the hardware store, and at $40 a liter I'm not going to paint six coats on each door for anything! Since then I've lightly sanded the doors I've used Heirloom on and will be covering them with cheaper, better hiding paint. I thought this color was too good to be true and I was right. But I did my best and gave all my strength with a certain patience. Now I understand that every paint that requires so many manuals, own brushes, excuse after excuse to explain why the consumer does not get the expected results (I read many comments / reviews on social networks before trying it ) because the product it is not true . it's actually not that great.
