Nice but could be better

Works. but it could have been better. There are already 1000 reviews for this item so I am not sure if this one will make much of a difference but I will be honest so you at least know to trust this review. along comes with a waist belt with a really good buckle that holds up well and is easy to put on and take off. It rides well in front and you can walk with it a bit and nothing will fall out. It stays open when you open it and is large enough for easy access to treats. It has a few extra Velcro pockets that are there if you need them, but that might be a bad thing for some and a good thing for others. I use. It might have a key clip or something, but then again, it might not be for everyone. I do not use it. Medium - It comes with extra pockets on the front and has some elastic mounts and a clip which I don't use. I don't really use any of these and if it just had a simple case with a spring mechanism to open and close I would be happy with so many features. but the front pocket with velcro is used for extra poop bags. just in case. It's not much more than anything else. Plus, the more you stuff into that front pocket, the more comes out of the main goody pocket. The Bad: It's a bit heavy and I'm sure it's due to the metal spring mechanism used to open and close it. As another reviewer mentioned, it can be a bit difficult to open and close due to friction unless you apply some lubricant like petroleum jelly or some other food-safe lubricant to the spring mechanism's side hinge pins. Although the pouch is easy to open and close, once lubricated it needs a tab at the top edge so it can be grabbed to open. Because there is no pull tab, your finger has to find the top edge of the main pouch to open it, which can be tricky at times. A pull tab would make all the difference. The other bad thing is that the main area of the treat pouch has an inner pouch area which is pretty much useless because if all your treats are in the main pouch how are you supposed to access the other inner pouch? It's really almost useless, but it's there when you need it. The front pocket uses velcro to keep the bag closed and it works pretty well, but this bag is small and really only fits extra poo bags. If not, and if not, I wouldn't care. So the bag is pretty good and the opening/closing mechanism is probably better than the magnets, but it needs a pull tab to really make it better. It closes with a simple push from the front and snaps into place. If only it had a main pocket with a pull tab and maybe a velcro front pocket for extra poop bags then this would be a real winner. The hip belt is built to withstand heavy use and works perfectly, fits large and small waists, all sizes... and has a large, durable plastic buckle. There is also a plastic hook on the back of the bag to attach it to a belt or maybe a bag if you don't want to use a waist belt.
