I didn't even know they existed until I spotted them in a YouTube video. I wanted to light up the cup holder in a Cadillac I just bought but couldn't find a simple 12 volt power source to plug into. I ended up just running a few wires under the center console, through the dash, and to the fuse box. I wanted to do some engineering by simply plugging the power cord into the fuse socket and pushing the fuse in to hold the cord. It was a much cleaner solution. They come with no instructions so make sure you know which of the two sockets is for the original fuse and which is for the accessory you are adding. If you use the fuses from another amplifier and put them in reverse order you may have problems. They appear to be well made and the fuses fit snugly in the sockets. I was a little worried it would interfere with reinstalling the fuse box cover, but it fit so well it wasn't a problem. I'll probably eventually forget that thing is even in the fuse box. I can't tell you how often I could use something like this. This is the perfect solution when you need to hook up some power.
