Review on Experience Seamless Gaming with LG 34WP60C B 34 Inch UltraWide Borderless 160Hz Monitor with AMD FreeSync™ Premium Technology by Flip Bragg

Best hit for your money

I bought the cheaper version because it's the same monitor with a cheap stand; Since I installed it on a flexible arm, the stand didn't matter. This is a very good monitor for the money. It's VA, not IPS, so colors are more vibrant, and the reduced viewing angle of VA monitors isn't really noticeable unless you intend to use it as an off-center secondary monitor. PRO - Very cheap price - LOTS of screen space, you can put about 50 icons in the taskbar. - High refresh rate, very smooth scrolling. - Weighing just over 12 pounds. It's light enough to work well with flexible arms, and the VESA mount was easy to install yourself. - I find the joystick adjustment controls easier to use than the usual buttons. AGAINST - It cuts off the indicator bar of the active application in the task. bar at the bottom of the screen; As you can see, I decided to just put the taskbar on top. It took some getting used to, but it works. If you use it with 1080p monitors, the windows text will be a bit small. Still readable, just smaller than other monitors. If this is your only monitor, you can always change your Windows settings. No G-Sync support but I don't play many games and Nvidia Studio drivers work great. You may need a larger mouse pad, it's far from edge to edge :) CONCLUSION If you've always wanted a widescreen but didn't want to spend more than $500, this is for you. It's cheaper than the cost of two comparable 1080p monitors, has more screen real estate, and is nice to look at with the curvature.

  • I'm so glad I bought it, so much easier to work with. Help the forge of my headache
Cons
  • Found 2 dead pixels on the screen, very disappointed with how much was spent on it.
