This GVM softbox lighting kit includes a main LED array, softbox, lighting stand and power supply and is ready to use after assembly. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble the softbox following the video instructions on this page. There is a control button on the LED lighting unit, which is used to turn the light on/off/adjust the brightness. Advantages: - Output power 80 watts. It's bright and works really well as a fill light (or key light in some cases). The light is constant and does not flicker. I've tried using it when taking photos/videos (30/60/120Hz) and haven't encountered any problems with it. The 5600K's color reproduction is close to daylight and fairly accurate at all brightness settings. The included softbox is octagonal, 22" in diameter, and uses a Bowens mount (S-type). The softbox is easy to install/remove as well as install other compatible accessories. 22 inch is a good choice for headshots or half portraits. It also works well for photos of food or small/medium sized items. The device remains silent during use. The fan gets significantly louder at maximum brightness, but this is only audible at close range/in a very quiet room. The light stays at a reasonably cool temperature without turning off after hours of use. The set is lightweight and easy to move. This makes light adjustment more efficient. It's easy to adjust the angle of the LED light - I can adjust it 180 degrees vertically and rotate freely 360 degrees to direct the light in any direction.
