Update: My son wore them all the time. He wore them on mountain bikes, to the skate park, and so on. A year and a half later they are still in such good condition that my son's best friend used them and they are his favorite shoes. You can't beat the quality of these. My son loves her. They have a bottom that is also suitable for mountain biking. Amazing price for a great quality product. DC was my second pair of skateboards I've ever owned and I absolutely love them. Now I'm passing the love of the brand on to my 11-year-old son.
