Good camera for the price. I've had it running for a year now with no problems. I have an Outback station wagon and have found that when it rains the lens gets covered in water. This is a common problem with rear cameras in general, so I don't blame any particular camera for this. Picture quality on the factory navigation screen is decent. Definitely good enough to get back into parking spots or hitch my trailer. Night vision is acceptable, but bright backup lights help me. It's pretty grainy without those lights. For the wiring, I used the vampire clips on the tailgate backup lights to power the camera and a lamp base adapter to power the LEDs on the old license plate light that this camera replaced. This means that the factory wiring is not interrupted and the entire system can be reversed if necessary. I had enough cable to power the camera and the signal cable ran easily the full length of the van with a few inches of spare.
