This is an exact replacement for the part that broke on my door but if you had the same problem you can buy the part for 25 cents to replace your existing door latch to repair. (not sure what it's called) which is adjusted by the screw appears to be loose and won't tighten (your door is loose) then take out the existing one and look at the back of the adjusting screw. At the very back there should be a C-clip (or some type of lock ring, lock ring, or locking ring) that will hold the bolt in place to allow for adjustment. It broke for me and didn't work. Take yours to your local hardware store and ask them to give you a new piece to secure the end of the screw. Then you are done!
