It seems quiet and fast. I added this to qnap 251 nas. Works well. Heating seems to be low. However, reason 1 of 5 starts: Why can't the hard drive come with screws?! When did the company stop caring about customer needs and satisfaction? It doesn't even cost 10 cents to provide 4 screws and save the customer the frustration of looking for HD screws. 10 cents is 0.1% of the total price. This foresight distinguishes American companies from Chinese companies, which lack spelling. I personally look for American brands even though I know they are made in China. I love every working person, race or creed. The worker has to send the kids to college. But I like the fact that an American company/manager oversees the production and does all the quality/certification checks with English manuals. If the storage leader starts pretending it's all just a price game, how are we ever going to build world-class companies?
