Review on Tools Circular Steel Cutting 8 Inch 21884ST800050CT by Luis Blaschko

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best blades for cutting scrap metal.

I use a Milwaukee metal circular saw 7 days a week as a contractor installing steel cabinets. I've used original Milwaukee blades that cut well and had a decent lifespan, Diablo blades that were excellent for about a dozen cuts and then quickly fell apart, and even some of the cheap Concorde blades here at Revain that were horrible to begin with were .start. cut (I figured if the blades wear out so quickly, just buy cheap and often is a bad idea). Finally I made up my mind and started buying Lenox blades. I couldn't be happier. They cut the same as Milwaukee OEM blades but last about twice as long. In truth, the Diablo slices better than both (for a minute), but it has such poor blade life that it's almost impossible to use. These blades represent the absolute best combination of cut quality and blade life on the market. No wonder considering I've been using Lenox blades in my reciprocating saw for a long time and they outperform everything else I've tried. If you're cutting metal 7 days a week, I don't think you should waste your time trying all the other blades - I've already done that. The Lenox is priced a bit higher than the competition, but they more than make up for the difference in blade life. As far as I can tell, Lenox makes the best metal cutting blades in the world, not counting any.
