The PIAA Sport horns were exactly what I was looking for for my 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Sport. They're louder than my standard horns, but not too obnoxious. The audio is very high pitched and really stands out meaning my car is heard when I need it. If I were to try to describe the tone, I would say they sound like a raspy trumpet sound in the high notes. Like a Ferrari or a Lamborghini from the 80s. Not the meep-meep of most Japanese cars, nor the soft honk of American cars, they sound very European. But they don't sound like Hella Supertones or Sharptones either. They sound unique to me, but also "annoying" enough (in a good way) to be heard. In terms of installation, it was very easy for my application. My standard horns had the same size flat terminals but only one wire so I had to add a ground wire to the second terminal on the horn. I also installed them from the factory. I didn't use a relay as the PIAA amp's output is actually lower than my factory horns so no relay was needed. Note that I've already removed the labels in the pictures to keep the lower profile. In addition, stickers can be removed easily and without leaving any residue. 10/10 Highly recommended.
