I was surprised by the suction power of these clamps. The only thing that could really make these clips stand out is the ability to change the direction of the spring force. If the spring tension were reversible, these clips could be used to apply either a clamping/closing force or an opening force (if required). For lack of a better tool, I use thick rubber bands on the clamp handles when opening force is required. These clips have really helped fix broken screens on my family's iPods, iPads and phones over the years.
