BUYERS ATTENTION! I have been using gardening tools for over twenty years and I enjoy using both quality and inexpensive tools. I have scissors and pruning shears that I use regularly. These secateurs have to be the worst quality tool I've ever used and more importantly, the most dangerous. The spring broke within the first hour of using the secateurs which was a disappointment. However, what made it worse was that when I put the secateurs away at the end of the day, the latch holding the blades would open repeatedly. The second time the blades opened, they pierced my hand between my ring finger and little finger, leaving a 1cm wound. This deep wound required an emergency room for stitches and an antibiotic. Almost two weeks later, the wound is still healing. I'm posting this to save someone else from the trauma I went through on a beautiful spring day. I repeat, DO NOT buy this product!
