Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Casablanca Caneel Bay Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan: Energy-efficient LED Light & Convenient Wall Control by Gina Clark

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Good luck if you need assistance.

After about 5 years of little use this fan started to have horrible wobble that was not responding to blade balancing. I was able to trace it back to 4 rotting rubber bushings securing the blade ring to the motor. Casablanca (Hunter) informed me that this was a "non-exchangeable item" and that they were out of stock. However, these bushings are an item that can be easily replaced by the consumer. only the manufacturer refuses to make them available to the consumer. So after 5 years, a $500 fan has turned into wobbly junk. I've had fans for 1/5 that price that have lasted for decades with no problems. Do yourself a favor and avoid this overpriced crap and understand that Hunter/Casablanca is not the reliable company it used to be. Fan models over the years. We couldn't keep all the parts for all these fans on hand for several years. Stacey." What a bummer! This is an undiscontinued fan from the last century - it's a fan that's still made and sold for $550 here at Revain and elsewhere. Parts are made - they put them to the consumers only not available.Potential buyers - you have been warned!
