Review on 🔧 Rough Country Boomerang Lift Shackles for 76-95 Jeep Wrangler YJ & CJ Models - RC0401 by Chuck Hernandez

There is some debate as to which way they should be installed. There are some good videos online that explain this. Since the gas tank got in the way of the factory leaf spring bolts, I had to cut the nuts on site. The new bolts fit well, although I cut one of the new bolts to keep it out of the gas tank. The screws are the right size and come with locknuts. After cutting off both the factory and new bolts, I can tell that the factory bolts are made of a harder alloy than the ones Rough Country supplied. I would probably give the temples 5 stars if they included the new bushings. They are mounted very close to the exhaust on my YJ. I may have to rebuild the exhaust at some point.
