Very good. Best in Chassis

They go great with my 1990 Wrangler. The jeep has sunk a bit in the back and now it's perfect. Heavy duty and has all the necessary hardware.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • boring packaging

Best Heavy Duty Chassis

Very thick/heavy! The bolts were too long, I had to put washers in to keep the ends of the bolts out of the gas tank, but they gave me about an inch to keep the tire from rubbing.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Something else

Much needed upgrade!

A much needed upgrade for my 2.5" straight lift stays. Better approach and slimmer looks, and lower height looks better with fender clearance and the fit of modern 31" tires. love the difference!

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Installed on CJ7 and very happy

I have an '85 CJ7 and bought two of these, the front springs are 1/2 inch narrower than the rear. To do this I had to run out and get 4" screws for the front and cut the middle washer 1/2". Otherwise the installation was easy as I had retrofitted the bushings a few years ago. I have about 3 inches of lift on the CJ7. With all the bushings lubed up, the ride is nice and springy compared to the hard pounding of the old ones. The curves on the driveshafts look good too, I'm glad I finally did it.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • No instructions

Reliable, comes with hardware, matches description

Very reliable and good value. Installation was easy. Haven't used the guide, you probably shouldn't install it yourself if you need a guide as it's not on the same level as changing a tire etc. They've been in use since the summer and still work great. All devices included. No rust yet, looks like new. I used them to get a little lift to keep the oil pan from hitting my front differential on my 89 YJ with a 4" lift and a transplanted OM617 diesel. Without the shackles the oil pan would hit theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Minor issues

Easy installation and great price

They are really good and durable. I put them on the back as they are already on the front of my 92 YJ. I also have a 4" Rough Country lift kit with new shocks and a 1" transfer case drop kit. I can't tell you how much better the ride was with all the suspension upgrades, but it just seals the deal. You have to cut the old bolts off the top as you can't get them out unless you drop the gas tank and who wants to get it right. But installation was easy and took about an hour. But don't tightenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Negative impression

Turned on and works as advertised.

There is some debate as to which way they should be installed. There are some good videos online that explain this. Since the gas tank got in the way of the factory leaf spring bolts, I had to cut the nuts on site. The new bolts fit well, although I cut one of the new bolts to keep it out of the gas tank. The screws are the right size and come with locknuts. After cutting off both the factory and new bolts, I can tell that the factory bolts are made of a harder alloy than the ones Rough Country

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No
