Although this device does NOT have audio as part of the switching function, I have given up dealing with KVM switches regardless of brand. NONE of them last, and I mean ZERO. This device WORKED with a manual knob and was IMMEDIATELY shown to be 100% error free. I don't care about sound anyway, and my other computer doesn't need to assign sound because it's for work. For my main video dedicated computer, audio is a direct connection anyway. If it REALLY mattered, I would just hook up the audio from my work computer as another source going to my "gaming" computer. This device is a great deal and if you're looking for manual switching between two HDMI sources with a keyboard/mouse, get this device.
