I've noticed that I use different files for the projects I'm working on. While they were working I decided to check out the carbide burrs. They were affordable and in the shape I wanted, so I took a chance and ordered them. I'm glad I did! I used them to reshape some of the door closers that kept the door from latching due to the house sagging over the years. With a file it would take me 30 minutes to remove the plate, file, reinstall, check fit, redo, etc. Using a carbide bur I was able to leave the locking plate in place and trim it roughly Reshape 5 minutes. I highly recommend this TJATSE Carbide Burr Set.
