I bought this for my husband. Here is his review: My dear wife bought me an Omystyle weighted blanket for Christmas. I'm a veterinarian and also a typical old man who has spent his life exposing his body to a bell. Due to chronic pain and other problems, I had a lot of trouble sleeping. I didn't have a single bed that I could just snuggle into and be comfortable all night. However, the Omystyle blanket is a great helper. It offers the weight of literally 15 military grade wool blankets with just a little insulation. It's heavy but not too hot. We keep our house around 140F during the colder months, so with a set of fleece sheets, a pair of lightweight insulation blankets and a weighted blanket over it, it provides the perfect amount of warmth. It would be easy to adapt to colder or warmer environments simply by adding or removing core duvets. My sleep quality has improved significantly since using this product. It was a very sweet and thoughtful gift.
