Review on Upgrade Your Shower With ROVOGO Stainless Steel Shower Panel System Featuring Rainfall Shower, Body Jets And Handheld Wand by Robert Jackson

Very good shower experience. Love the pressure

This shower panel is pretty nice. I knew it was on the lower end on the quality side but it looks pretty good on the outside. I had a Vigo system originally and my hard water killed the thermostatic cartridge 3 times and it was a huge pain to replace. I wanted a system with no batteries, no lights, and a larger thermostatic cartridge to keep from failing. This checked all the boxes. It was a little challenging for me to make it work with my existing plumbing stubouts, but I got it done.My advise is throw out the flexible metal water lines to connect to your plumbing and buy new lines at the hardware store. The flex lines supplied with this system kinked very easily and looked like they could fail easily. The hose clamps all needed to be tightened before mounting. I wouldn't say this is a super simple mounting and plumbing job but if you're somewhat skilled in diy and plumbing this is doable in a few hours. The true test will be how long this system lasts. I regret building a master bath with a shower panel system 10 years ago. Most of these panels won't even last 10 years and then you're stuck retrofitting and drilling new holes in tiles. The best way to go is putting in a traditional shower head and valve at construction.Good system though, 4 stars for the modifications I had to make to ensure this would last and also lost one star because it is clearly cheaply made. For $200 it's pretty dang good. You can also buy a very nice shower system built into the wall for $200 or less. It could be 5 stars.

Pros
  • I'm going to need a bigger water heater. Watch not to kink the hoses when you install it.
Cons
  • The body jets may not provide enough pressure
