This fits my '64 Buick Sklark

This fitted my convertible 64 Skylark exactly. Remember that there are 2 different sized steering parts. This one is 1/16 smaller. It was an opportunity to upgrade to "Premium" which is 7/8. The easiest way to check this is by the size of the nut on the link/middle link. If you have 11/16 nuts holding this part in place, you have the smaller one. Hope that helps. I had to return a few parts. Even the rod couplers are different, so make sure you have them before ordering.

Pros
  • WHAT IS THE CENTRAL JOINT? The center link (also called the brake link) is part of your vehicle's steering system. It connects the various steering components together and allows the wheels to turn. Just like your hips, the center links are ball-bearing mounted and will need to be replaced when they wear out. A worn center link reduces handling and makes it difficult or impossible to achieve camber, leading to rapid tire wear. Replacing a worn center link results in a noticeable improvement in steering feel, handling and safety.
