They are easy to install but if you are not comfortable an electrician can do it but I have wired 3 of these myself without an electrician and have never had a single problem. Make sure you have a 30 amp, 10/2 wire switch and you're good to go. These timers also use 240V and 110V ballast cords, which is a huge benefit if you only have one voltage.
