Why would you not save you bacon grease. It is a great primer for cooking. We have been storing in jars for years and saw this so we decided in giving It a run for its money.Have had it 3 weeks, we cook bacon almost everyday (autistic kid that will only eat that for breakfast) and the screen filter works to catch all the little things you miss and there is not cheesecloth involved.The lid secures without issue and is tight.Even it it solidifies, about 30 second on a warmer and you are in business.Great product and great price.Thanks!
