Installed in my 2006 GMC Sierra (no Bose audio system, no steering wheel controls). Great fit. Nice clean facility. It's nice to have a small closet again. My single din radio bolts directly to it. I did not use any of the adapters or cages/mounts that came with the radio itself. From what I recall I had to go to a hardware store to buy screws (but this is specific to the radio you are installing as the length of the screw and thread is required so I can see why they are not included are kit). Definitely plan on buying this again.
