Review on 🔌 NuTone 89224 3000 Vent Motor by Robert Aiono

Fits as a replacement for our old #89224 but like other reviewers said you need to replace the motor and screw mounts otherwise you're sucking air out instead of them to let it out. Also, this one should run at a much higher RPM than the old one. Ours fits in a makeshift box that simply mounts to the ceiling with rafters, so I think the new motor is overpowered for this old design. It rumbles so loud it seems like it's about to burst through the roof and fly away. The husband plans to crawl underground and install a stronger lockbox or figure out the best way to secure the box. That's not part of the engine, it's just our problem. Just watch out for the rev ramp and be prepared/warned!
