I used to have a pop socket phone mount in my car. It was stuck to my car's dashboard. I've had it for a couple of years and eventually the heat only got to it, it stopped sticking to the torpedo and the spring in it broke. Since it was an expensive mount, I wanted to find a cheaper one. I also didn't want another extractor and specifically wanted one that would connect to the air vent in my car to avoid the mount falling off the dash. Stumbled across this one and decided to order it. As long as I like it! It feels solid and is pretty easy to install. I love that it has a hook so it doesn't slip off the air vent in my car. The best part is that it's deep enough to comfortably hold my phone, despite having a pop socket on the back. So I don't have to worry about it falling out of its mount (note I have a thinner casemate hull, not something thick like an otter box). I have it in my Jeep Cherokee and it fits perfectly on the air vent with no issues. I'll admit it's not as high as I'd like, but it's just my car's ventilation system, not the product itself. Overall, I definitely recommend this product!
